The second instalment of EmergeD’s sight specific exhibition series housed within SYHA venues,
features fifteen artists work designed in response to the context of Bruntsfield Youth Hostel.
:a short description of project :
A response to the site-specific work/performance of accommodation2 that will result in the production of ‘documentation’, itself a site-specific product based purely on the events of the evening.
about current work :
The production of imagery/sound/word based on memory, location and self. How memory can be evoked through a sense of self, and a sensitivity to ones surroundings; the creation of which utilises photography, music and sound recordings, written word, drawing, sculpture, installation and print that is ultimately bound into book form. Collaborations with other artist create an individual and unique art work that is continually evolving.

Solo exhibition in the vacant shop front on Woodlands road used by EmergeD.
This exhibiton explored issues of town planning and modern urban living, viewed only through the window of the vacant shop images were created to make the viewer consider what they were viewing, whether it was the begining of a town planners office or an art installation.
